Valentine’s Day is fast approaching us and it’s a good time to freshen up your Windows 7 desktop with a new theme.  Microsoft has released a brand new theme just for this Valentine’s Day, but this one is likely more geared towards the ladies out there.  The new theme  is based on the most popular symbol of the holiday that isn’t a heart, it’s the rose.

This brand new Windows 7 Theme features 10 separate pictures of roses.  Microsoft describes it as “Known as “the queen of flowers,” roses have been valued for thousands of years for their beauty and fragrance. Their connection to romance also spans the generations, popping up in songs, poems, and in lovers’ bouquets since at least the Middle Ages. Savor the extraordinary beauty of roses in this free Windows 7 theme.”

The new theme is called simply “Roses” and you can download it from the Windows 7 Personalization Gallery.  You must be using Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate editions in order to install Themes.
