Outlook is the most popular desktop email client in the world.  Many home users, and even more business users, are on Outlook every day.  Thankfully, the Microsoft Office email client allows for a lot of customization and plugins.  One of the most popular add-ons has become the Outlook Connector, which was released by Microsoft themselves.

The Outlook Connector Pack allows users to import their Hotmail and Facebook (Messenger Chat) into Outlook.  It is described by Microsoft in the following way:

Outlook Connector Pack is part of Windows Live Essentials and includes Microsoft Outlook Hotmail Connector and Microsoft Outlook Social Connector Provider for Windows Live Messenger, so you can stay connected to Windows Live Hotmail and Messenger from within Outlook.

You can download it from Outlook Connector Pack and install either, or both, of the connectors.  It requires Windows 7 or Vista SP2 and at least 1 GB of RAM.  It also comes as a part of Windows Live Essentials.
