Back in June we brought you some new of the upcoming Acer RevoCenter.  Now, it look like it is finally set to ship.  Today, Microsoft announced the Acer RevoCenter RC110 and RC111 availability dates for the global market.  These are very compact server for the home user and run, of course, Windows Home Server 2011.

The servers will both run on Atom processors, with the RC110 getting a D425, while the RC111 sports a D525.  Both boxes will hold up to 4 hot-swappable SATA drives, up to 4 GB of DDR2 RAM, have both USB2.0 and 3.0 ports, Gigabit ethernet, and run WHS 2011 which is compatible with Windows 7, Widows Vista, and Windows XP clients.  There was no word on pricing.  Acer has done a good job of keeping the Revo series very affordable, so we expect these server to follow in that same path.
