Google Docs adds Image Upload to Spreadsheets

The Google Docs team announced today that they have updated Spreadsheets to enable image uploads.  It’s a feature that is sure to get a lot of use.  Previously it was difficult to add image files to a spreadsheet and users had to go about it indirectly.  Now it’s as easy as clicking the Insert menu and choosing Image and then browsing to the file our PC.  In addition to your locally store image files you can also search for an image online or choose one from your Picasa Web Albums.
