Google announced today that they are adding 45 languages to the their Mobile Editing, which launched last year in English only. The Mobile Editing app for Google Docs is available for Android 2.2 and iOS 3.0+ devices. You can download the app at the Google Docs for mobile website. The app allows you to access your document list, view documents such as PDF’s and images, and edit documents and spreadsheets. You can view the 45 languages available at minimum requirements for mobile Google docs.
In addition to the new languages added to mobile editing, Google has also said they have added 8 more print sizes to Google Docs Spreadsheets. The new sizes include tabloid, statement, executive, folio and A3, A5, B4 and B5.
The additional languages is huge for Docs users. The additional print sizes, while not as big, is a nice boost to functionality. It’s good to see these small, but frequent updates continuing to make Docs more powerful.
