You may have noticed that Windows 7 comes with fewer programs than its predecessors did. For instance, Windows Movie Maker is absent. If you miss it, or would like to check out some of the other add-ons then you can go to the Live Download Page.
Here you will find such things as Messenger, Mail, Writer, Photo Gallery, Movie Maker, Family Safety and Toolbar.
The Movie Maker is much improved over past versions and Writer is also a nice tool.
This should be one of the first things you install after installing Windows 7.

We just got a quick at Netflix for Windows Phone 7 Series, one of the third-party apps Microsoft’s showing off here at MIX10, and it looks… well, very Netflixy — it’s red to the bone. Unlike other mobile Netflix apps, this one’s got Watch Instantly support and it looks great — a real testament to the capabilities Microsoft’s bringing to the table with it Silverlight-based dev platform.

Many people would like to change the location of their My Documents folder. The primary reason is to move it to a drive separate from the OS. Here’s how to do it.
1. Click Start => Computer and navigate to “C:\Users\<Username>”
2. Right click on My Documents and select Properties.
3. Click the Location tab at the top.
4. Click Move which allows you to select the new location for your My Documents folder. Once you have chosen a new location, click OK to confirm the change.
