First let me get this out of the way before I offend anyone out there – GodMode is Microsoft’s name for the feature, not mine.

This recently discovered “Easter egg” gives you fast, easy access to pretty much every control panel item all laid out in a simple list.

1. Click Start => Computer => C drive => New Folder

2. Rename the “new folder” you create with the following:

GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

3. You now have an file with the Control Panel icon.  Double-click it and you have access to all kinds of system administration goodies.
